Mission-to-Medal Method
How It Works
Through Rucking Tough, you can earn official foreign military badges. We’ve worked it out with these host nations so that YOU can earn these official rucking badges virtually, by participating anywhere in the world, as long as you meet the same criteria and standards that these foreign militaries require of their own personnel.
Whether your participating in a foreign military ruck or a Rucking Tough exclusive, the process is the same:
- Choose Your Mission — Pick your ruck and register right here on our site. Checkout is secure.
- Ruck to the Standard — Complete the distance and weight in one continuous ruck during the event window, anywhere in the world.
- Submit Your Evidence — Send a tracking screenshot (date, time, route, distance) and a photo of you on the ruck using our Tracking Submission system.
- We Verify — We review your evidence and confirm completion with the issuing organization.
- Earn It — Your medal or badge, ribbon, and certificate ship to the address on your registration.
Foreign Medals take 10–12 weeks from the close of registration — covering confirmation, pickup, and shipping. We print labels before ship day so you can review your address; tracking goes live when your packet ships.
