How did you get into rucking?
Military fitness events and Air Force Special Warfare.

Why do you ruck?
Mental toughness, fitness, time outdoors but mostly the community/people.

Favorite ruck so far?

Nijmegen 4DAAGSE is the best ruck I've ever attended, Edelweiss Badge with 45lbs is the hardest.

What is the hardest lesson you've learned on a ruck?

If you're not careful and have too much ego, you can be a liability to the team when it comes to injuries. Know when to let go and let the mission continue.

What is your go-to ruck setup?

Metal Frame Alice pack or Tasmanian Tiger Raid Pack MK III , Fox River socks, Lowa Zephyr MkII Non-Goretex boots.

What is your advice for new ruckers?

It's Type 2 fun, and totally worth it.

What is the next event you are training for?

Nijmegen 4DAAGSE.
