I'm from the beautiful Pacific Northwest, the state of Idaho. I grew up hiking the largest mountains in Idaho and I've always had the passion of being outdoors. I got into rucking seriously when I began Advanced Mountain Warfare Training and maneuvering my gear through more adverse, extreme terrain. This demanded overall Improvement of physical capability and efficiency in performance. Rucking incline through extreme, variated or dangerous terrain greatly contributes to maintaining or improving skill sets, mental and physical health Improvement, problem solving, immediate adaptation, successful movement with minimal or no complication.

Every training or Ruck is a different experience contributing to overall health improvement and performance. The rucking events that are tailored to specific memorial rucks, generating strong awareness for mental and physical health and public service members are meaningful, impactful.

The hardest lesson I've learned under a ruck is managing my survival in extreme or dangerous conditions and especially rucking the mountains in the winter. Surviving extreme or deadly conditions rucking teaches folks a lot. Preparation is absolutely an advantage in survival!

My go-to setup or gear recommendation, based on experience, would be a company called "Eberlestock" made in Idaho. These have been the most lightweight, durable and versatile packs I have rucked, highly recommend!

The best advice I would give somebody just starting out rucking would consist of sequenced Direction.

Healthy Performance:

1. Focus, discipline and consistency

2. Hydration, diet, activity

3. Rest and recovery

It's very important to manage healthy mental and physical health performance. This is a healthy foundation to improve rucking success. Every rucking experience is an opportunity, growth and improvement!

Life is survival! Training, rucking, preparation is only an advantage in survival. I'm training to maintain capability and advantage in unpredictable or unforeseen circumstances. The ruck events are fun to participate in, mostly to contribute energy and generate strong awareness to physical health Improvement. It is gratifying accomplishing challenges in positive directions!

The 250th Ruck for Freedom is definitely one of my favorite rucks, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and experience to be a part of! That was very special! 🦅🇺🇲

I'm extremely honored and grateful to participate in the Rucking Tough events, memorial rucks and contribute energy! Rucking Tough is a great platform for public service members or anyone to improve, maintain or exceed performance capability. Keep Rucking Tough!
